Mai House Hotel is located away from downtown area in a quiet location but convenient to all facilties.It's Nearest airport: 6 km
and nearest the Beach 0.2 km.Style of hotel is a bunglaow resort type facility
"We stayed at a wonderful resort called Mai House, which was designed, built and owned by a very pleasant couple, she Vietnamese and he French. The facility is relatively new, with private guest houses, all of which have thatched roofs, stucco and stone walls and tile floors and are placed so that no one is looking in on the cottage next door, and all face the ocean. Our cottage consisted of a large bed sitting area with a very romantic canopy bed and bamboo furnishings which were also designed by the owners. Each unit also has a covered veranda and is very nicely furnished. The bathroom was well appointed, but some (like me) might like a door to afford some privacy from time to time. But that's really a small issue and I got used to it. We North Americans tend to be rather silly when it comes to bathrooms. We were completely at ease with our hosts and they with us. Our drivers arrived at our cottage each morning and took us out to a different part of the island. We stayed at Mai House for four nights, had dinner there three of those nights and breakfast each morning. Staying at Mai House will add to your pleasure if you visit Phu Quoc." -- Terry T.
