Located in the centre of Chau Doc town, the new Song Sao Hotel has 24 rooms with all the basic, modern amenities. It is 200m to the local market and little more than 1km from the ferry, plus just 20 minutes drive to Sam Mountain and the Temple of Lady Chua Xu. How to get there: Drive time from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City to the Song Sao Hotel, Chau Doc is approximately 6 hours and 3 hours drive from Can Tho.
Room Type:
First Class: airy and look out the front of the hotel from a big balcony and window. The rooms have a private bathroom with hot water & shower.
Second Class: rooms have a view out the back of the hotel, but are equipped with remote control air conditioning, telephone and TV. The private bathroom has hot water and shower.
Third Class: rooms are very small and basic. The room is a bit dark and only has a small window, but the price is very reasonable.
